I am a mental health therapist in private practice in Decatur, Georgia. I completed my Masters degree in Clinical Counseling and Psychology at Troy University and I have gone on to pursue specialized training in evidenced based treatments for anxiety, depression, insomnia and behavior problems in childhood. I am certified in the Kadzin Method of Parent Management Training developed at the Yale Parenting and Conduct Center at Yale University. I believe that therapy should not be a mysterious process and that the brain is flexible and can learn new skills. . I work in a collaborative and open way with acceptance on the top of my list of traits I seek to show and teach. I have worked as both a general education and special education teacher and love working with teens. I am a veteran of the U.S. Navy and the mother of a teenager and a small zoo of pets.. I am a member of the Association of Contextual Behavioral Science and I actively seek out training opportunities to constantly update and improve my clinical skills.
